Summer Reading Registration Begins!

It’s officially time to register for summer reading!

In-person registration is open now for children, teens, and adults! Stop by the Montgomery County Public Library at our circulation desk or drive-thru and sign up to get your reading log and information about summer reading. Children can also be registered using this link or the green button below for online registration and book bags can be picked up anytime afterwards at your convenience.

We are looking forward to an exciting summer filled with tons of fun, reading, and learning! We can’t wait to have you join us this summer for our summer reading program! Don’t miss our super fun upcoming events to kick off summer reading:

πŸ¦„πŸ‰ June 1st – Library Fantasy Faire – Stop by the Mt. Sterling library from 3:00-7:00 PM to experience a world of fun at our Fantasy/Renaissance Faire! Explore a variety of stations throughout the library to learn about the middle ages, read tales of amazing adventures, complete crafts and play games from the time period, and register in-person for summer reading! Renaissance and book-based costumes are encouraged, but not required!

🎞️🍿 June 13th – Annual Library Night at the Judy Drive-In – Join us at the Judy Drive-In for a family friendly movie based on a book! We will also have games and activities for summer reading participants before the movie, so sign up for summer reading to receive your free admission coupon for the event!

🍧 June 15th – Official Summer Reading Kick Off Family Fun Event at the Jeffersonville City Park – Our official Summer Reading Kick Off will be at 6:00 PM at the Jeffersonville City Park! We’ll have fun games and activities for the whole family, plus snow cones and cotton candy!
