The Montgomery County Public Library is a publicly funded community service offering two library locations and county-wide bookmobile availability.

We provide information access and leisure reading for our community through a variety of materials and formats, and strive to offer exceptional service in a friendly, welcoming environment.

The Montgomery County Public Library is a Special Purpose Government Entity funded through property taxes, grant funding and donations, established in accordance with KRS 173.

Oversight of the Library is provided through a five-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Montgomery County Fiscal Court.
