The Montgomery County Public Library is managed by a volunteer five-member board in accordance with KRS 173.
Board members are community-minded individuals interested in offering various quality informational resources and services to the public, and are selected to represent the diverse geographic, social, and cultural makeup of Montgomery County. Board members are recommended to the KY Department for Libraries and Archives, and then officially appointed by the Montgomery County Fiscal Court to serve a four year term.
The Montgomery County Public Library accepts applications for board members by filling out the form below and dropping it off at any of our library locations. Alternatively, you may email your application to [email protected].
