1.) It may take up to 6 weeks to process your loan and receive the requested book/materials at the Mt. Sterling Library, We may be unable to borrow some obscure or highly valuable items. We can only request items that are at least 6 months old.
2.) The return date placed on the requested materials are determined by the owning library and is set by the lending library and will not be based on the date you pick-up the book from the Mt. Sterling Library.
3.) Interlibrary Loans cannot be renewed.
4.) If you do not pick up your requested items in a timely manner after being contacted the materials will be returned to the lending library. (These items may not be available for re-request)
5.) If you request an Interlibrary Loan you are expected to return the book in the same condition as you picked it up and by the specified returned date. If the book is not returned to the Mt. Sterling Library as requested or if it becomes damaged while in your possession you will be charged for overdue and or replacement fines as determined by the lending library.
6.) You must have a valid Mt. Sterling Library card with a good status. You must provide a valid phone number where you can be reached.
