We’re gearing up for summer reading here at the library, so we’ll be using May to prepare! Stop by the library to pick up a physical copy of our calendar.
Summer reading registration opens up on June 1st!
🛍️ Check out our library surplus sale and sealed bid auction on May 12th-14th! We’ll be accepting sealed bids on items from 12:00 PM on May 12th to 6:00 PM on May 14th, so stop by and place a bid! Potential surplus items include chairs, furniture, organizing items, kitchen and housewares, and computer and tech (AS IS, unknown working status). We’ll also have some books and $1 DVDs available for purchase, so stop by and check them out!
🩸 We are thrilled to partner with the Kentucky Blood Center for another blood drive at the library! Your donation can make a huge difference in someone’s life, so stop by the library on May 14th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM to donate. Appointments can be made on the Kentucky Blood Center website and walk-ins are welcome! Donors will get a limited-edition hat for donating.

📙 Join our Book Besties book club for an in-person book club at our Mt. Sterling branch! The Book Besties meet on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 PM at our main branch, so stop by and chat with us about what you’ve been reading! Stop by our Mt. Sterling branch to pick up our book of the month!
📕 Do you live closer to Camargo? No problem! Check out our Camargo Book Club, another in-person book club! The Camargo Book Club meets at 1:30 PM at our Camargo branch on the third Thursday of each month. To join, simply pick up the book club book of the month at our Camargo branch and join the monthly meeting!
📘 If you’re looking for a virtual book club, consider the Dangerous Creatures Book Club! The Dangerous Creatures Book Club meets at 6:00 PM through Zoom on the third Thursday of each month. To join, simply pick up the book club book of the month at our main branch and join the monthly meeting!
